MP Govt Buys Rs 250 Crore Challenger 3500 Jet for VVIP Travel, Arrives by June 2026

•Madhya Pradesh government purchases a Bombardier Challenger 3500 jet for VVIP travel, costing approximately Rs 250 crore.
•The super mid-size business jet, currently under construction in Canada, is expected to arrive in Bhopal by June 2026.
•It boasts a range of 3,500 kilometers, a top speed of 870 km/h, and can seat 8-10 passengers with two cabin crew.
•The new aircraft will replace rented planes, saving costs and enhancing convenience for emergency travel and official tours.
•The cabinet approved the proposal in July 2024, with the deal finalized in October 2024, aiming to boost state connectivity and efficiency.
