Nashik Hostel Horror: 10th Graders Sexually Exploit, Extort Juniors for Months

10th-grade students in a Nashik hostel accused of sexually exploiting, extorting money from, and assaulting junior students for 6-7 months.
•
Victims, mostly from underprivileged backgrounds, were forced into unnatural sexual acts, given intoxicating substances, and threatened with death.
•
Police registered cases against 8 10th-grade students under POCSO and Anti-Ragging Act; presented to Juvenile Justice Board.
•
Hostel superintendent and two other staff members face negligence charges for not reporting the abuse despite being aware.
•
The private, government-aided hostel has been closed; district administration ordered a CWC investigation and relocation of children.
