আজ যখন গোটা দেশ ইরান-ইজরাইল যুদ্ধ আর তেল ও গ্যাসের সঙ্কটের দিকে তাকিয়ে আছে, তখন আরেকটা বিপদ চুপিচুপি ভারতের দিকে এগিয়ে আসছে। এলপিজি সঙ্কট সরাসরি সাধারণ মানুষ আর ইন্ডাস্ট্রিগুলোর উপর আঘাত করেছে ৷ আর এই নতুন বিপদ দ্রুত ভারত সরকারের কোষাগারে ফাটল ধরাতে শুরু করেছে। এই বিপদ আরও বড় হয়ে উঠছে, কারণ মধ্যপ্রাচ্য থেকে তেল আর গ্যাসের সাপ্লাই বন্ধ হওয়ার পর ভারতকে অন্য দেশ থেকে অনেক বেশি দামে জ্বালানি কিনতে হচ্ছে। এরকম অবস্থায় ভারতীয় মুদ্রা আরও দুর্বল হয়ে পড়া সমস্যাও আরও বাড়িয়ে তুলেছে ৷
