•Sensex climbed 316.57 points (0.38%) to 82,814.71, while Nifty gained 116.90 points (0.46%) to 25,571.25.
•Investors' wealth increased by approximately ₹1.73 lakh crore as BSE market cap rose to ₹466.95 lakh crore.
•Power, Metal, Capital Goods, and PSU Bank indices saw gains of 1-2%, while IT and media sectors declined.
•NTPC led Sensex gainers with a 2.73% rise; L&T, HUL, Bajaj Finance, and Power Grid also performed well.
•Tech Mahindra was the top Sensex loser, down 1.75%; Infosys, Eternal, HCL Tech, and Bharti Airtel also fell.
