7th Pass Vimala Jain Builds Rs 55 Lakh Business, Empowers 75 Women in Pali

•Vimala Devi Jain, a 7th-grade educated woman from Pali, Rajasthan, transformed a home-based venture into a multi-million rupee enterprise.
•Starting in 2009 with friend Munni Devi, she began making 4-5 kg of khakhra daily, which grew into an annual turnover of Rs 50-55 lakh.
•In 2012, she formed the Riddhi-Siddhi Khakhra Udyog self-help group, now employing 75 women who earn Rs 12,000-15,000 monthly.
•Her business, initially focused on 8 types of khakhra, expanded to include various food products like papdi, chips, and pickles.
•Vimala Jain's products are sold across India, including Bangalore, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, with her entire family now involved in the business.

बबीता कुमारी के उद्यमी बनने की शुरुआत 2018 में हुई. उन्होंने बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा द्वारा संचालित ग्रामीण स्वरोजगार प्रशिक्षण संस्थान (R-SETI) और ‘जीविका’ के माध्यम से अगरबत्ती निर्माण का 20-25 दिनों का कड़ा प्रशिक्षण लिया. प्रशिक्षण के बाद सबसे बड़ी चुनौती पूंजी की थी. बबीता बताती हैं कि जब उन्होंने काम शुरू करने की ठानी, तो पास में फूटी कौड़ी नहीं थी. पति राम विनय कुमार ने अपनी बचत से महज 600 रुपये दिए. इन्हीं पैसों से बबीता ने कच्चा माल खरीदा और शुरुआत में अपने हाथों से अगरबत्ती बनाना शुरू किया. दिन भर की मेहनत के बाद भी हाथ से काम करने में मुनाफा कम था, लेकिन बबीता ने हार नहीं मानी.
