Digital Thief Caught on Marudhar Express: Used Fake IRCTC Messages for AC Travel
•A passenger was caught on the Marudhar Express in Jodhpur Division for defrauding the railway by manipulating tickets.
•The accused used a fake IRCTC message, created by saving his own number as 'VM-IRCTCi' and editing original ticket messages, to travel in AC coaches.
•TTE Kaluram Meena became suspicious when the passenger showed a message for an empty seat and further investigation revealed the fraud.
•The passenger had previously used similar fraudulent methods to travel multiple times, cleverly using two mobile numbers to hide the 'forwarded message' tag.
•The accused was handed over to RPF Jaipur, and a case has been registered under sections of fraud and the Railway Act.
