•History-sheeter Mahesh Gurjar, with 22 criminal cases, died after being shot in Alwar's Bansur area.
•Incident occurred late Wednesday night in a field; a relative's weapon allegedly discharged accidentally, hitting Gurjar.
•Gurjar was initially treated at Bansur Hospital, then Kotputli, and finally NIMS Hospital Jaipur, where he succumbed.
•Police are investigating all angles, including accidental firing, old rivalry, or conspiracy, led by DSP Megha Goyal.
