•Former Mohun Bagan star Uday Konar, 52, now sells clothes as a hawker on South Mumbai pavements.
•He was part of Mohun Bagan's 2001-02 National Football League winning team and played for 27 top clubs including Air India, Mahindra & Mahindra, Churchill Brothers, Salgaocar.
•Konar won a gold medal in the 1999 National Games, represented India in the AFC Club Championship and 2000 Santosh Trophy.
•Despite high earnings, he couldn't secure his future due to "internal politics" and unpaid salaries from some clubs.
