Drone Sows Seeds in Adilabad: First in India, Cuts Time & Cost Significantly

Adilabad Krishi Vigyan Kendra scientists successfully used a modified drone to sow sesame seeds in Ponari village, Tamsi Mandal.

This marks the first time in India that a drone has been used for seed sowing, previously only for pesticide spraying.

The drone can sow seeds in one acre in just 30 minutes, significantly reducing the traditional one-day effort.
