Holi Alert: Fake Khoa Seized in Ayodhya, Food Safety Department Raids Shops

•Ayodhya's Food Safety Department is on high alert for Holi and Ramadan, conducting a special campaign against adulterated food.
•Raids led by Assistant Food Commissioner Manikchand Singh uncovered 50 kg of adulterated khoa at a sweet shop, whose owner fled.
•Expired dates and samples of cashews and raisins were also seized from a dry fruit shop for testing.
•The special campaign runs from February 18 to February 28, with two teams conducting intensive checks.
•Officials warn consumers to check expiry dates and buy gujiya made from genuine khoa, promising strict action against offenders.
