Kheri: 150 Village Ponds to be Rejuvenated Under MNREGA for Water Conservation

•Kheri district to rejuvenate 150 village ponds through cleaning, excavation, and deepening under MNREGA.
•Campaign aims for water conservation, beautification with flower gardens, and seating arrangements over 30 days.
•DPRDO Vishal Singh stated ponds near villages accumulate waste; cleaning will make them useful for animals and birds.
•Gram Panchayats will use their own funds for the project, as no separate budget has been allocated.
•The initiative is launched under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's direction, with 150 ponds in the first phase.
