Maharajganj's Ashishitpal Singh Smashes National Zercher Lift Record, Qualifies for World Championship

Ashishitpal Singh from Maharajganj set a new national record in Strongman Zercher Lift, lifting 185 kg in the 80 kg weight category.
•
He broke the previous record of 175 kg during the event held in Dehradun on March 1st.
•
This achievement secured his selection for the Old School Strongman World Championship in Europe, scheduled for October.
•
Singh previously won gold medals in State and National Powerlifting events, starting his journey two years ago.
•
Despite coming from a family of doctors, his success in sports brought family encouragement, proving sports and studies can coexist.
