10 Rajya Sabha seats from UP will become vacant in November 2026, including 9 from BJP and 1 from SP.

Retiring MPs include Brijlal, Hardeep Singh Puri, Dinesh Sharma, Neeraj Shekhar (BJP) and Ramgopal Yadav (SP).

Current assembly strength: BJP (258), SP (103), Apna Dal (13), RLD (9), Nishad Party (5), SBSP (6), Congress (2), Jansatta Dal Loktantrik (2), BSP (1).

Each Rajya Sabha seat will require 37 votes; BJP-led NDA has 294 votes, SP+Congress has 105 votes.
