BLO Alarmed: Her and Husband's Names 'Under Consideration' in Final Voter List
•A Booth Level Officer (BLO) in Deganga, North 24 Parganas, found her and her husband's names marked 'under consideration' in the final voter list.
•Firoza Khatun, BLO for Booth 6 at Gopalpur ICDS School, discovered approximately 200 out of 599 voters in her area were similarly marked.
•Despite following the prescribed process after receiving a hearing notice during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), their names remained 'under consideration'.
•The BLO expressed concern about answering local residents when her own name is affected and appealed to the Election Commission for investigation.
•Halima Bibi, President of Barasat Block 1 Panchayat Samiti, acknowledged the issue, suggested a possible conspiracy, but assured administrative support.
