Dooars Tragedy: 4 Women Tea Workers Dead, 3 Critical in Horrific Accident

•Four women tea garden workers died and three others were critically injured in a horrific accident on the Hasimara-Jaigaon Asian Highway.
•A WagonR car crushed seven tea garden workers from the closed Bharnabari tea garden who were on their way to work at Beech tea garden.
•The deceased are Pushpa Dorji, Bertha Kharia, Rajani Barla, and Augustina Monda; the injured are receiving treatment at Alipurduar District Hospital.
•Local residents blocked the road in protest, citing increasing accidents on the Asian Highway, prompting a police investigation.
•Separately, a fire in Alipurduar's Uttar Rangali Bajna Jahadipara killed twenty goats and destroyed documents, though the homeowner survived.
