Yasser Haider has been announced as the candidate for Kandi, Murshidabad, against Trinamool's Apurba Sarkar (David).
•
Yasser previously distanced from Trinamool and joined Congress after his relationship with Firhad Hakim's daughter ended.
•
Humayun Kabir's Janata Unnayan Party will announce candidates for 182 constituencies, with 15 names already out.
•
Humayun Kabir, a suspended Trinamool MLA, will contest from Rejinagar and Naoda.
