Tea garden workers discovered the struggling leopard on Tuesday during Holi after hearing loud cries.

The big cat's physical condition has deteriorated due to prolonged time spent in the well.

Ghoshpukur Forest Department, ADFO, and multiple squads are on site, cordoning off the entire area.

A rescue operation is underway using a ladder and net to save the trapped leopard from the well.
