Maynaguri BDO's Name Dropped from Final SIR List, Sparks Controversy

•Maynaguri BDO Prasenjit Kundu's name has been removed from the final SIR list, causing a stir in Alipurduar.
•Prasenjit Kundu, 37, resides in Ward No. 7 of Alipurduar town and is currently living in Maynaguri for work.
•The final SIR list, published Saturday, saw 11,692 names deleted in Alipurduar, including the BDO's.
•The BDO has not commented, and the local BLO is also silent on the matter.
•Alipurduar District Magistrate R. Vimala stated deleted individuals must reapply using Form No. 6; a supplementary list will follow.
