•A passenger bus crashed in Nadia after its driver suffered a sudden heart attack, injuring approximately 15 passengers.
•The incident occurred at Choto Itna More on the Kaliganj-Debgram-Katwa Ghat state highway; the bus carried 50 pilgrims from Katwa.
•A bitumen-laden tanker caught fire near the ISKCON temple adjacent to Belda bypass on National Highway 16.
•A wedding procession bus also caught fire in Shaktigarh on National Highway 19, but passengers narrowly escaped.
