WB Assembly Election 2026: Paschim Bardhaman Prepares with 2,500+ Polling Stations

Paschim Bardhaman district will have over 2,500 polling stations for the WB Assembly Election 2026, with elections held in the first phase.
•
A total of 2,588 polling stations will be set up, including 2,504 general booths and 84 auxiliary booths.
•
Durgapur Paschim and Asansol Dakshin Assembly Constituencies will have the highest number of booths, with 315 each.
•
The number of booths is determined by the number of voters in each assembly constituency.
•
Every booth will provide minimum facilities like ramps, drinking water, adequate lighting, and fans to ensure voter convenience.
