8th Pay Commission: Deadline Extended to March 31 for Employee Feedback
•The 8th Central Pay Commission (8th CPC) has extended the deadline for its 18-point online questionnaire to March 31.
•The extension allows broader participation from central government employees, pensioners, unions, and other stakeholders.
•Feedback on pay structure, pension provisions, allowances, and employment conditions is sought via the 8cpc.gov.in portal and MyGov platform.
•Submissions are accepted only through MyGov; email, paper, or PDF formats are not accepted.
•The Commission, constituted in late 2025, has 18 months to complete its report, with recommendations expected to influence salaries and pensions from January 1, 2026.
