Farmer Surendra Patidar earns 3 lakh monthly from "electricity crop" via PM Kusum Yojana
•
Khargone farmer Surendra Patidar installed a 2 MW solar power plant on his 6-acre farm under the Prime Minister Kusum Yojana.
•
The plant produces 40 lakh units of electricity annually, supplied directly to Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company.

He generates 3-3.5 lakh units monthly, billing 10-11 lakh rupees, and nets up to 3 lakh rupees after loan installments and expenses.
•
A 25-year agreement with the power company ensures long-term income, highlighting the project's low risk and high income potential.
•
Surendra manages the plant himself, plans to cultivate ginger under the panels, and SolarSure from Indore installed the project.
