देश में लोगों को मुफ्त बिजली उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से सरकार ने 15 फरवरी 2024 को पीएम सूर्यघर योजना योजना को शुरू किया था. इस योजना के तहत सरकार सोलर पैनल लगवाने पर 78,000 रुपए तक की सब्सिडी देती है.

•Khargone farmer Surendra Patidar installed a 2 MW solar power plant on his 6-acre farm under the Prime Minister Kusum Yojana.
•The plant produces 40 lakh units of electricity annually, supplied directly to Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company.
•He generates 3-3.5 lakh units monthly, billing 10-11 lakh rupees, and nets up to 3 lakh rupees after loan installments and expenses.
•A 25-year agreement with the power company ensures long-term income, highlighting the project's low risk and high income potential.
•Surendra manages the plant himself, plans to cultivate ginger under the panels, and SolarSure from Indore installed the project.
