New Helmet Rule: ₹1000 Fine Even With Helmet If Not ISI Certified!

•Traffic police now enforce a new rule: helmets must be BIS certified with an ISI mark (Indian Standard IS 4151:2015).
•Riders face a ₹1000 fine if their helmet lacks an ISI mark or if the strap is unfastened.
•Jamui SP Vishwajeet Dayal confirmed the mandatory use of ISI-marked helmets for road safety.
•The campaign targets poor-quality helmets, underage driving, tripling, and lack of HSRP number plates.
•Ensure your helmet has an ISI logo, a fastened strap, and is of good quality to avoid penalties and ensure safety.
