Mumbai to Sindhudurg Ro-Ro ferry service expected to start by April 2026, cutting travel time to 5-6 hours.

Currently, the road journey takes 10-12 hours, with increased delays during holidays.
•
The ferry will operate from Bhaucha Dhakka in Mumbai to Vijaydurg, allowing passengers to bring two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
•
Expected passenger tickets: 800-1200 rupees; two-wheelers: around 1000 rupees; four-wheelers: 4500-6000 rupees.
•
This service aims to significantly boost tourism in the Konkan region.
