Sikar Gets 7.7 Crore for Water Crisis: Every Home to Get Water, Scarcity Ends

First phase prioritizes rural areas: replacing faulty pipelines, repairing tube well motors, and mending handpumps.

Urban areas receive 2.5 crore rupees for maintenance of drinking water lines in eight towns, ensuring regular supply.
•
Advance budget allows immediate resolution of technical problems by Public Health Engineering Department.
•
Separate 3.6 crore rupee plan for tanker water supply, with 65 lakh for urban and 2.41 crore for rural areas, to alleviate severe scarcity.
