RPF Foils Major Heist on Howrah-Jamalpur Express, Recovers Rs 1 Crore Stolen Goods
•Eastern Railway's Malda Division RPF arrested two individuals and recovered stolen goods worth approximately 1 crore rupees.
•The arrests were made during a special operation at Bhagalpur station on the Howrah-Jamalpur Superfast Express (Train Number 13071).
•Initial search of coach S7 yielded cutter blades, a gold-like locket, and a mobile phone from the suspects.
•Further interrogation led to the recovery of a large quantity of stolen items, including gold-like lockets, mangalsutras, earrings, and silver-like anklets, chains, and bangles, along with currency.
•This success was achieved under 'Operation Yatri Suraksha' and 'Operation Amanat' by RPF, GRP, and CIB, with a search ongoing for other involved parties.
