Siliguri launches 24-hour helpline for LPG crisis; Mayor assures no shortage

Siliguri Municipal Corporation launched a 24-hour helpline (7557035149, 8697004403) to address cooking gas supply issues.
•
Mayor Gautam Deb assured residents there is no shortage of cooking gas and adequate stock is available.
•
The initiative follows concerns over long queues and delayed gas deliveries in the city.
•
Oil companies IOCL and HPCL confirmed sufficient stock for about one month, with regular supply from Raninagar and Phansidewa.
•
Gas is delivered within 1-3 days of booking; residents urged not to panic and use the helpline for problems.
