•BJP state vice-president Jagannath Chatterjee secured a ticket for the Siuri Assembly constituency in Birbhum for the 2026 elections.
•Immediately after his name appeared on the candidate list, Chatterjee cycled around Siuri town, accompanied by BJP workers.
•He stated he used a bicycle to travel from the district party office to the town party office due to lack of other transport.
•Chatterjee officially began his campaign by offering prayers at the Sankatmochan Temple at Chaitali More in Siuri town.
•His campaign also included wall writings in various locations.
