Mutual Funds Shift: Private Banks Gain, PSU Banks See Sell-Off in February

Mutual funds maintained similar cash levels in February as in January, indicating stable investment activity.
•
Approximately ₹9,000 crore was withdrawn from PSU banks, with major sell-offs in State Bank of India, Union Bank of India, and Punjab & Sind Bank.
•
Private banks saw the highest investment of ₹16,412 crore, with significant buying in HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
•
The IT Services sector attracted ₹12,741 crore, with Infosys, HCLTech, and TCS among the top buys.
•
E-commerce received ₹8,108 crore, with investments in PB Fintech, Paytm, and Swiggy, while Nykaa and Delhivery saw sell-offs.
