18-year-old Prithviraj Lakhan Dalvi, son of a prominent businessman, was abducted in Kapurhol, Pune.

He was snatched from a black XUV 700 car (MH 12 XE 5353) around noon on Tuesday.

Jejuri and Neera police initiated a 'surgical' blockade after the family alerted authorities.

During a chase, kidnappers drove their car into a sugarcane field near Pisurti, got stuck, and fled on foot.

Police safely rescued Prithviraj; accused are absconding, and an investigation is underway.
