Pune Thief's Bizarre Act: Steals Purse, Then Shares Location for Recovery

•A thief stole a former soldier's wife's purse from the Lucknow-Pune Express near Yavat station.
•After the theft, the thief called the victim and advised him to find the purse using Google location, claiming he had left it near Yavat station.
•The purse contained 8,000 rupees cash, two mobile phones, a watch, and important documents, totaling 32,600 rupees.
•Police constables, along with the victim Anuj Singh, walked 35 km and successfully recovered the purse from a deserted wasteland.
•While the cash was missing, the mobile phones and important documents were found intact, baffling even the police with the thief's strange behavior.
