•Messi had previously held the record, scoring against 40 teams in 163 matches.
•Lewandowski achieved this feat with a brace against Newcastle United, bringing his total UCL goals to 109 in 142 matches.
•He has represented Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona in the Champions League.
•Lewandowski also became the oldest player to score multiple goals in a UCL knockout match at 37 years and 209 days.
