NemBharat: New Ride-Booking Platform Promises Zero Commission, No Surge Pricing
•NemBharat, a new ride-booking platform, is set to launch in India, aiming to disrupt the market dominated by Uber and Ola.
•The platform promises zero commission for drivers, allowing them to retain full earnings, and no surge pricing for passengers, ensuring consistent fares.
•Operated under the Narayanihiti Trust by World Economic Mobility Limited (WEML), NemBharat will be a prepaid, cashless service.
•It will compete with established players and the recently launched Centre-backed Bharat Taxi, which uses an 80-20 revenue-sharing model.
•NemBharat plans to include cabs, auto-rickshaws, and bike taxis, with an aim to build a national transport network.
