India Backs UN Resolution Condemning Iran's 'Egregious' Gulf Attacks

•India co-sponsored a UN Security Council resolution condemning Iran's "egregious" attacks on Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Jordan.
•The resolution demands immediate cessation of Iran's attacks and denounces threats to close the Strait of Hormuz.
•Iran has launched missile and drone attacks on all six GCC states since February 28, targeting airports, military bases, and oil facilities.
•Attacks in UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia resulted in casualties, injuries, and significant damage to infrastructure.
•Over 1,000 Iranian projectiles were fired, disrupting oil/LNG supplies and pushing Brent crude prices to $92-$100 per barrel.
