Sangma, a border tout, helped main accused Faisal Karim Masud and Alamgir Hossain illegally enter India after the Dhaka murder.

The main accused were previously arrested on March 8 in West Bengal; Sangma himself later entered India illegally to evade detection.

This arrest signifies renewed cooperation, trust, and India fulfilling Bangladesh's demands for accused handover and anti-smuggling efforts.
