Iran Strikes US Victoria Base in Baghdad, Escalating Middle East Conflict

•Iran launched drone attacks, targeting the US Victoria Base near Baghdad International Airport.
•One drone landed inside the compound, while another was intercepted; heavy smoke seen billowing from the base.
•A maritime facility near Mina Salman port in Manama, Bahrain, was also struck in what authorities called “Iranian aggression.”
•The strikes are in retaliation for a US and Israel military campaign that reportedly killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and over 200 people.
•US President Donald Trump stated the conflict, Operation Epic Fury, could last up to four weeks and claimed 48 senior Iranian leaders eliminated.
