•An Iranian ballistic missile struck a residential area in Dimona, Israel, injuring at least 47 people.
•Dimona is known for hosting Israel's nuclear research center, established in 1958.
•Injuries included shrapnel wounds, falls while rushing to shelters, and acute anxiety, with children among the hurt.
•The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) are investigating the failure to intercept the missile.
•The IAEA condemned the attack, confirmed no damage to the nuclear facility or abnormal radiation levels, and urged restraint.
