NATO Intercepts Third Iranian Missile Over Turkey; Ankara Demands Clarification

•NATO air defences intercepted a third ballistic missile fired from Iran towards Turkey, prompting Ankara to demand clarification from Tehran.
•This follows similar interceptions on March 4 and March 9; the latest incident involved an explosion heard near Incirlik Air Base.
•Turkey, a NATO member, expressed its unwillingness to be drawn into the conflict between Iran, Israel, and the U.S.
•Ankara relies on NATO's integrated air defences, including the Kurecik radar base, as it lacks its own fully-fledged system.
•Russian S-400 systems were not used; NATO has since beefed up regional defences with a U.S. Patriot system at Kurecik.
