"Not Our War": Allies Trust China More Than Trump's US, Poll Finds

•An international poll reveals many US allies now trust China more than the United States under President Trump.
•The survey, conducted by Politico and Public First, covered over 2,000 respondents in US, Canada, UK, France, and Germany.
•In Canada, Germany, France, and the UK, a majority or significant plurality chose China as more reliable than the US.
•Many respondents also believe China will be the world's leading power in 10 years, reflecting unease with Trump's "America First" foreign policy.
•The shift is attributed to declining trust in the US under Trump, rather than increased trust in China, according to the report.
