•Accused Pakistani terrorist Asif Merchant claims Iranian spies recruited him to assassinate Donald Trump, Joe Biden, and Nikki Haley.
•Merchant testified in Brooklyn federal court that his family was threatened, forcing him into the plot.
•He was charged with paying $5,000 to undercover FBI agents posing as hitmen for the attacks.
•Merchant identified his handler as Mehrdad Yousef, a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), who also ordered him to steal documents.
•FBI cameras reportedly captured Merchant discussing plans to kill a GOP politician, believed to be Donald Trump, in June 2024.
