•A video reportedly shows an Iranian Shahid Soleimani-class missile corvette exploding in the Persian Gulf after a US strike.
•The vessel, operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGCN), exploded off the coast of Bandar Lengeh.
•This incident follows another US strike that engulfed the Iranian Navy corvette Shahid Sayyad Shirazi in flames near Bandar Abbas port.
•US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed on March 4 that US forces sank an Iranian warship named Soleimani.
•Hegseth referred to a US submarine torpedoing the IRIS Dena in the Indian Ocean, with 87 bodies recovered from 180 crew.
