•WTO General Council and host country Cameroon are closely monitoring the situation and will keep members informed of updates.
•India's Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal met WTO DG to discuss making MC-14 positive, balanced, and inclusive for global trade.
•India advocates for a permanent solution for public stockholding, protection of small fishermen, and revival of the appellate body.
•India opposes the Investment Facilitation for Development (IFD) proposal, fearing it may undermine policy autonomy for poorer nations.
