Andhra Pradesh invests Rs 6,000 Cr for 200 new power sub-stations

Andhra Pradesh government is investing Rs 6,000 crore to build 200 new electric sub-stations statewide.
•
Energy Minister G Ravi Kumar announced the initiative to address rising electricity demand.
•
200 new 33/11 KV sub-stations are being established in high-load areas for uninterrupted power supply.
•
The projects aim to meet current and future demand from industry, business, domestic, and agriculture sectors.
•
Two 220 KV sub-stations, costing Rs 46 crore, are also under construction in Vizianagaram district.
