APSEZ, NMDC, Vale Brazil Ink MoU for Iron Ore Blending Facility at Gangavaram Port

APSEZ, NMDC, and Vale S.A. (Brazil) signed an MoU for an iron ore blending facility and SEZ at Gangavaram Port.
•
The agreement was signed during Brazilian President H.E. Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's visit to India, in the presence of Piyush Goyal.
•
Collaboration aims to develop, operationalize, and manage an integrated SEZ-based ecosystem for iron ore blending and commercialization.
•
Gangavaram Port's capacity will increase to 75 MMT, becoming a hub for iron ore exports and capable of handling Valemax vessels.
•
The partnership strengthens India's iron ore export value chain, enhances efficiency, and positions Gangavaram as a global maritime hub.
