GMDC, NMDC Partner for Rare Earth Elements; Focus on Ambadungar Deposit

•Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) and NMDC Limited signed an MoU for strategic cooperation in Rare Earth Elements (REE).
•The partnership aims to develop an integrated REE value chain in Gujarat, focusing on GMDC's Ambadungar Rare Earth Deposit.
•Cooperation areas include mineral exploration, mining, beneficiation, processing, and downstream use of REE.
•This initiative strengthens India's mineral security, reduces import dependence, and boosts clean energy and advanced manufacturing sectors.
•GMDC MD Roopwant Singh stated the collaboration will bring together institutional strength and technical expertise for industrial progress.
