Army, Ladakh Admin Ink MoU to Protect Fragile Ecology, Wildlife

•Army's Fire and Fury Corps and Ladakh administration signed an MoU on World Wildlife Day.
•Aims to preserve Ladakh's fragile high-altitude ecology and conserve key wildlife species.
•Focus on snow leopard, Himalayan wolf, ibex, marmot, black-necked crane, and 'bharal'.
•Partnership falls under the Global Snow Leopard and Ecosystem Protection (GSLEP) programme.
•A joint Snow Leopard Conservation Cell will be established to monitor conservation efforts.
