EC to deploy 25 lakh personnel for 5 assembly elections

•25 lakh personnel, including 8.5 lakh security personnel, to be deployed for upcoming assembly polls.
•Elections to be held in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam, and Puducherry.
•17.4 crore electors are eligible to vote in these elections.
•Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar emphasized impartiality and violence-free elections.
•Polling dates: Assam, Kerala, Puducherry on April 9; Tamil Nadu on April 23; West Bengal on April 23 and April 29. Counting on May 4.
