Five arrested in Odisha begging racket, 9 children rescued

•Odisha Police arrested five individuals, including four women, for allegedly forcing children to beg in Berhampur city.
•Nine minors, aged four months to 12 years, including three girls, were rescued from the begging racket.
•The accused were identified as Mani Sindhe, Ajaya Kajri Sindhe, Rani Sindhe, Puja Power, and Sita Power, residing near Berhampur Railway station.
•The group allegedly used an autorickshaw to drop children at traffic signals and crowded areas, while adults monitored from a distance.
•The rescued children were produced before the District Child Welfare Committee (CWC) for rehabilitation, and further investigation is ongoing.
