Odisha: Man with 40+ criminal cases injured in police encounter

•Tima alias Dhaneswar Jhankar, involved in over 40 criminal cases, was injured in a police encounter in Sambalpur, Odisha.
•The exchange of fire occurred in Dumchhali forest under Rairakhol Police Station limits when police were challenged by Jhankar and his associates.
•Criminals fired at the police, who retaliated, injuring Jhankar in his right leg.
•Jhankar and three associates were arrested; he is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.
•Police seized a pistol, live ammunition, a vehicle, and tools for cutting power transmission wires.
