Govt Hikes Commission for Arthiyas, Co-ops in Wheat, Paddy Procurement

•Centre approved hike in commission for Arthiyas and cooperative societies for wheat and paddy procurement.
•Arthiyas in Punjab and Haryana will get Rs 50.75 per quintal for wheat, effective from 2026-27 rabi marketing season.
•Commission for Arthiyas in Rajasthan for wheat rises to Rs 45.67 per quintal; for paddy, it increases to Rs 50.61 per quintal.
•Cooperative societies' commission for wheat revised to Rs 29.79 per quintal and for paddy to Rs 35.30 per quintal.
•Revision follows state requests and sub-committee recommendations, aiming to ensure procurement system efficiency.
